Helping Hands for Hope: Supporting CASA and Children in Need
Say Hello
Join us in supporting a cause that truly makes a difference in the lives of vulnerable children!
The Leadership Portage County Class of 2024 is focusing on providing comfort and essentials for children who are removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. When children are taken from their familiar surroundings, they often leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
We’re raising funds for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), a national association dedicated to providing court-appointed advocates for abused or neglected children. Every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, and CASA volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that these children's voices are heard and their best interests are represented in court.
That's where go bags come in. These bags are filled with essential items and comforting necessities to help ease the transition for children during such a difficult time. From toiletries and clothing to blankets and toys, these go-bags provide a sense of security and comfort when it's needed most.
Your donation will directly support the purchase of items for these go bags, ensuring that every child who finds themselves in this situation receives the care and support they deserve. No child should have to face such uncertainty alone, and with your help, we can make a difference in their lives.
Every dollar counts, and every contribution makes a difference. Together, let's show these children that they are not forgotten and that their community cares about their well-being.
Join us in making a difference today! Donate today and share this fundraiser with your friends and family.
